What is the DUA?
The DUA (Single Administrative Document) is the mandatory customs declaration required by the Tax Agency to import or export vehicles to/from the Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla. It certifies that the tax obligations have been met and is an essential requirement to complete the registration with the DGT.

📋 What happens after you submit?

We draft the sale contract
With the details provided, we draw up the official contract. Buyer and seller will receive it by SMS for digital signature (legally valid under Act 59/2003 on electronic signatures).

Mandate of representation
We will also send you the mandate by SMS. It is the document that authorises us, as an agency, to act on your behalf before the DGT to process the sale notification.

Notification to the DGT
Once the documents are signed and the documentation provided, we process the notification. The seller is released from all liability. Confirmation in 24–48 business hours.

What is the vehicle sale notification?

The sale notification is the procedure by which the seller informs the DGT that they have sold their vehicle. Until it is notified, the registered owner remains liable for fines, accidents and insurance.
